Saddness....my heart is heavy

Last Friday evening, June 15, 2012, walked out of church after a most wonderful worship/district conference; talking to a good friend you know how we women do.  Just knew I would see her the next evening for the official day for our superintendent.  But on Saturday morning received news she had died.  Young woman, late 50's, mother of four, wife, sister, aunt, friend.   Beautiful inside and out.  Had a lovely smile on her face that night, just glowing.  So many things I wanted to share with her about my sewing journey; to pick her head of the wonderful creations to come.  A creative sewist in her own right.  Blogger world will never get to know her.   I will miss her.

Visions of new creations

Life has a way of getting it's way, sadly there's has been a lot of sicknesses, deaths, school graduations, work.  Sadly only visions of patterns and more of what may become of new sewing creations/designs only has been going on in my head.

Happy belated Mother's Day

I hope your day on yesterday was a blessed one.   Whatever capacity.

Today is no sew today.  In my head are visions of fabrics and what could be created from them.  The mind is willing but the hands are not cooperating.  Visiting others out there in blogland would jolt me into at least to layout something, anything but nooooooo I only drool over you guys awesome creations.  I gladly accept any support/advice you can give me.
